CC-10

Our WHITE ALUMINA CERAMIC grade mainly applicable for finishing cast iron and steel in higher surface speed operations. Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-20

Our STANDARD BLACK CERAMIC grade is a composite with Alumina Matrix containing Titanium Carbide with excellent wear and strength characteristics. Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-30

Our BLACK CERAMIC grade for cutting high hard metals (Rc58 and above), chilled cast iron and powdered metals. This insert has replaced some grinding operations in hardened steel (Rc 58-62). Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-30-C

Our gold-coated black ceramic grade for cutting metals with a hardness of Rc58 and above; also chilled irons.  A smart choice compared to PCD or CBN. Equivalent/superior to Kennametal's Kyon 4400, Ceratip's A66N, and Toshiba's LX-11. Available with hole for pinlock.

Cermet

CC-42

Our HARDEST CERMET grade recommended for turning, boring, threading and grooving. The best choice for finish machining of steels, stainless steels and cast irons. 

CC-43

Our TOUGHEST CERMET grade is tough enough for milling and light roughing; also turning of carbon, alloy and stainless steels, as well as ductile and cast irons.

CC-44

Our BEST OVERALL 'SUPER' CERMET grade with the widest application area is relatively tough, but hard. It is recommended for turning, boring, threading, and grooving. The best choice for semi roughing to finishing of carbon, alloy and stainless steels, and cast irons. Also suitable for light milling of cast iron and steels.

Silicon Nitride

CC-5126

Our MEDIUM SILICON NITRIDE grade.  Great for general purpose machining of irons.  Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-513

Our TOUGHEST SILICON NITRIDE.  Great for HIGH-SPEED IRON CUTTING with VERY HEAVY INTERRUPTIONS in milling, turning, boring and facing.  Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-514

One of our NEWEST and BEST OVERALL SILICON NITRIDE grades.  Great for HIGH-SPEED IRON CUTTING with HEAVY INTERRUPTIONS in milling, turning, boring and facing.  It's very hard, but tough also.  Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-5143

Our NEWEST SILICON NITRIDE grade.  Very hard grade with excellent wear resistance.  Great for high production machining of any iron.

 CC-515

One of our HARDEST SILICON NITRIDE grades.  Great for HIGH-SPEED IRON CUTTING in continuous cuts or slight interruptions in turning, boring and facing.  Available with hole for pinlock.

CC-5477

Our SILICON NITRIDE grade for cutting EXOTIC AEROSPACE METALS such as Waspaloy, Hastelloy, Stellite, etc. Available with hole for pinlock.
